From Japan to Your Port — A Clear, Reliable Process.

Inquiry & Vehicle Selection

We buy purely to order — we don’t hold vehicles in stock. Tell us the make, model, year, budget, and destination port you need, and we’ll source matching vehicles for you.

Sourcing & Bidding

We bid on your behalf at Japan’s major auto auctions to secure the vehicle you’ve requested. Each vehicle comes with an auction sheet — a standardized condition report covering exterior/interior grade, mileage, and noted damage. We explain and translate this for you before you commit.

Winning Bid & Proforma Invoice

Once a vehicle is secured (by auction win or direct purchase), we issue a Proforma Invoice (PI) — an itemized quote covering the vehicle price (FOB), auction/agency fees, and shipping estimate. This is the official document confirming your order.

Payment

Payment is made by bank wire transfer against the Proforma Invoice. We do not begin export processing until payment is confirmed. Full payment terms are outlined on your invoice.

Pre-Export Inspection

Before shipment, the vehicle undergoes a pre-export inspection confirming it matches its auction sheet and condition report — checking exterior, interior, engine, and mileage. Any discrepancies are flagged before the vehicle leaves Japan.

Documentation

We prepare all export paperwork required for shipment and customs clearance at your destination:

• Export Certificate (de-registration from Japan)
• Bill of Lading (B/L)
• Auction Sheet / Inspection Report
• Commercial Invoice and Packing List

Shipping

Vehicles are shipped by:

• RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) — more economical, suited to drivable vehicles
• Container shipping — added protection, often used for multiple vehicles consolidated in one container, or higher-value vehicles

We arrange shipping to your destination port and provide the vessel/shipping schedule once booked.

Tracking & Arrival

Once your vehicle ships, we provide tracking details and the Bill of Lading needed for customs clearance at your port. You’ll know your vessel, estimated arrival date, and what documents to have ready.

Customs Clearance & Delivery

You (or your customs agent) complete import clearance and pay any applicable duties, taxes, and port fees in your country — these vary by destination and are your responsibility to confirm with local authorities. Once cleared, the vehicle is released to you at the destination port.
